From black EPDM to a new TPO roofing system.
EagleRidge Roofing & Construction recently completed this residential roofing project in Ogden, Utah, removing the home’s existing black EPDM roofing and installing a new 60-mil TPO membrane roof.
TPO is a single-ply roofing membrane commonly used on low-slope and flat roofing applications. Properly installed, the system creates a continuous roofing surface with seams that are heat-welded together to help resist water intrusion.
The 60-mil specification refers to the membrane’s nominal thickness, not 60 millimeters.
One mil equals one-thousandth of an inch.
