Taking a swamp cooler off the roof is only half the job. What happens to the opening afterward matters.

EagleRidge Roofing & Construction recently completed a project involving the removal of two rooftop swamp coolers and patching the openings left behind.

Once a roof-mounted evaporative cooler is removed, the former penetration can’t simply be ignored. The opening needs to be properly closed and incorporated back into the roofing system so the area can continue protecting the structure from weather and moisture.
